A VERY FINE IMPERIAL RUSSIAN SILVER SOUVENIR-SIGNATURE CIGARETTE CASE, OVCHINNIKOV, ST. PETERSBURG.  The hinged lid of the polished case mounted with Imperial Russian Lieutenant eppulate and cadet corps eppulate together with gold signatures monograms and charms, the cognac bottle set with diamonds and exhibiting the date 1813 no doubt in memory of army General Petr Kotlyarevsky’s defeat of the Persians in the same year. Hallmarked St. Petersburg, circa 1890 and in Cyrillic M. Ovchinnikov beneath the Imperial Warrant and 84 silver standard Length. 4.25 inches (10.5 cm).
