A RUSSIAN FABERGÉ SILVER MOUNTED LEATHER FOLIO, MOSCOW, 1908-1917. The leather covered folio with moiré silk lined interior boards with pockets. The front cover set with substantial silver neoclassical style frame with interior beaded border and leaf tip outer border and each corner set with a rosette. At center an oval cartouche encircled with bound laurel border and engraved in Cyrillic script, Gavriil. Stamped in Cyrillic K.FABERGÉ beneath the Imperial Warrant, hallmark for Moscow circa 1908-1917, 84 silver standard and scratched inventory number 41498. 15.25 inches x 10.6 inches (38.5 x 27 cm).
