A PAIR OF RUSSIAN SILVER AND NIELLOED BELTS, 1900-1917. The first comprising 58 substantial rectangular links with raised floral design and decorative pierced skirt on a gilt ground and with niello highlights; with a substantial half cylinder buckle with interlocking belt plate exhibiting a Royal cipher beneath an Imperial crown. Hallmarked Tbilisi circa 1908-1917 and with 84 silver standard. Overall length 34 inches (86 cm). Together with a more traditional silver and nielloed linked belt with kinjal buckle fastener. Indistinguishable hallmark circa 1899-1908, Cyrillic maker’s mark possibly N.S. and 84 silver standard. Overall length 25 inches.
