A PAIR OF PAINTED RUSSIAN EASTER EGGS, CIRCA 1890. Comprising a Lukutin lacquered two part egg, one side depicting the resurrected Christ and the other side the Sign Mother of God, interior with Lukutin mark beneath the Imperial Warrant. Together with a painted wooden egg displaying St. Isaac's Cathedral, St. Petersburg. Greatest height 3.1 inches (8 cm).
