A LARGE AND VERY FINE GILT-BRONZE GOTHIC-STYLE SANCTUARY LAMP, FRENCH, CIRCA 1900. The large inverted cone shaped basket of sturdy bronze construction with the three attached ornate suspension arms with relief sculpted scrolling foliage, flower heads, and Gothic pierced border held by an elaborate linked suspension chain with cross form elements and impressive smoke bell at top with suspension loop and containing a ruby red glass candle holder. Electrified but could be easily converted back to non-electric. Exquisite! Overall height including suspension chain 46.75 inches (118.5 cm).
