A PAINTING FROM THE FORMER COLLECTION OF THE EMPRESS DAGMAR MARIA FEODOROVNA (1847-1928) , the wife of Tsar Alexander III and the wife of Tsar Nicholas II, according to the label on the verso. Comprising an oil on canvas painting depicting a cityscape of Copenhagen circa 1920. The verso with vintage hand inscribed paper label written in Danish “Former property of the Empress Dagmar sold at her auction at Hvidoere, April 11, 1929.” 11.25 inches x 16.25 inches (28.5 x 41.3 cm).
