A FINE RUSSIAN SILVER-GILT AND SHADED ENAMEL CUP & SAUCER, VASILI AGAFONOV.  The saucer and cup similarly decorated with shaded enameled florals on a stippled gilt ground and with cloisonné beaded borders. Hallmarked Moscow, circa 1896-1908, Cyrillic makers mark VA for Vasili Agafonov and 84 standard. Diameter of saucer 5 inches (12.6 cm).
