A GEORGE BERRY FOR DERBY SILVERPLATE COCKTAIL SET, CIRCA 1926. With martini shaker and five tumblers in the form of a golf bag, the lid surmounted with a figural golf ball. With matching tray with golf ball form handles. The shaker inscribed with name and presentation dates for G. McGovern and C.J. Lewis for various dates in 1957. The bases with Derby Silverplate logo, and shape No. 1921. Height 12.75 inches (32.5 cm).

Provenance:

This set was given as a gift from Grayson McGovern (whose name is engraved on the cocktail pitcher) to a close friend, Rosemary Kennedy of Santa Barbara. It was thence passed down by descent in the family to her son, the current owner.
