A STERLING AND PARTIAL GILT GOTHIC STYLE CIBORIUM, 19th century, Benziger Brothers, New York. The six-lobed base repoussed with grape motifs, large bulbous central node supporting a hexagonal column upon which rests a chased and pierced basket holding a gilded silver bowl with similarly decorated lid with cross finial. Overall height 12.5 inches. Together with a sterling and gilt bronze Gothic chalice, 19th century. With dedicatory inscription dated Easter Sunday, April 10, 1887. Overall height 9.25 inches.
