A RARE ANNA POTTERY STONEWARE RAILWAY PIG FLASK, CIRCA 1870.  Attributed to Wallace and Cornwall Kirkpatrick, Anna, Illinois, in the form of an anatomically correct pig with incised inscription and map "Shortest, quickest, cheapest, and only safe reliable route to California and the Black Hills for the St. Louis, Kansas City, and Northern Railway" under a partial deep brown shading to amber Albany glaze. Length 6.5 inches (16.5 cm).
