A COLLECTION OF U.S. WWI EQUIPMENT. Comprising well over 60 pieces, including five helmets, canvas and leather leggings, field pack, a Springfield rifle case, cartridge belts, canteens, mess kits, personal hygiene items, folding canvas shipping bag sent home to Lieutenant W.E. Bowersox, 14th Balloon Co., of Cedar Rapids, IA, bag has an approximately 4 inch painted triangle with Allied Expeditionary Forces, a US marked saddle brush, a pair of officer's leather gloves with plastic "Gentry" buttons, a folding "Kenlit" pouch with tobacco wrappers and New Testament, cigarette case made from German WWI belt buckle center, tin drinking cup with folding handle, empty "Auto-strap" and "Gillette Safety Razor" pouches, an aluminum officer's army compass pouch and a shaving mirror in pouch.
