A LARGE RUSSIAN ICON OF A HALF YEAR CALENDAR, LAST QUARTER OF THE 20TH CENTURY. Running down the center a vertical strip depicting six different Mother of God type images, and on either side three months each displaying people and events depicted on the liturgical calendar for that month. The borders in faux enamel. 34 inches x 24 inches (86 x 60 cm).
