A LARGE AND IMPRESSIVE WATER COOLER, FRENCH, 19TH CENTURY. Of classical Grecian urn form, the raised square base set with shells at each corner and supporting a spindle pedestal support upon which rests the large urn reservoir with clamshell handles, scrolling foliage repoussé decorative banding and a towering cone shaped fitted lid with acorn finial. The front set with a functioning substantial cast bronze figural spigot modeled as a putto atop a large dolphin. Height 33.5 inches (85 cm) width 18.5 inches (47 cm).
