$1,800-$2,200 In 1929 the Governor of New Hampshire sponsored a painting
expedition to Somoa where Lassonde stayed and painted until 1935. Upon his
return, Lassonde headed to New Hampshire WPA art program. He traveled
extensively throughout his career painting landscapes, genre and portraits. |
