270 A GOOD MINIATURE SUIT OF ARMOR, Victorian 19th century. The articulated steel armor supported by a stuffed cloth cover metal armature held on with miniature leather straps. Comprising of a helmet with vented hinged visor, full arm defenses, gauntlets, cuffs and hand covers. The breastplate nielloed with scrolling foliage and a Maltese style cross. Mounted on a wood base. Height of armor only 13" (33 cm). Estimate $250-$500
