The hinged lid set with ornate ivorine relief panel depicting a horse mounted warrior with armor, mythological imagery, cornucopia and animals. The sides of box with continuous band of figures, dolphins, swans, animals, and scrolling foliage. Interior of lid engraved "E.F. Caldwell & Co. New York".
