A LARGE FABERGE SILVER AND CUT GLASS CENTERPIECE BASKETRY BOWL Moscow
circa 1899-1908. The fluted cylindrical base resting on four bun feet
with acanthus skirt and with blank circular cartouche on both sides within
laurels and ribbons. The rim with banded reeds and the side set with arms
supporting a large arched handle with glass insert deeply cut with
geometric designs. Marked K. Faberge in Cyrillic with Imperial Warrant,
and assay mark of Moscow circa 1899-1908, and scratched inventory number
on base 23610. Height 9" (22.8 cm). Estimate $12,000-$18,000 |
