A SET OF FOUR CHINESE CARVED IVORY FIGURES probably early 20th century.  Of celestial kings, each with his implements including parasol, lute, sword and lion, and dragon and pearl.  Each wears a miter with image of supplicants and each wears a girdle with pendant tao-tieh mask.  Height 7.75 inches (20 cm).  Estimate $600-$800

FOUR JAPANESE CARVED IVORY NETSUKE 19th/20th century, consisting of a dog with ball, a geisha with shamisen, a scholar with scroll and a wine merchant with inlaid silver.  The latter two with polychrome decoration.  Height 1.5 inches to 2.25 inches.  Estimate $300-$500
