A PRE-COLUMBIAN COPPER STANDING FIGURE; Peru; Early to Middle Mochica; 300 BC – 300 AD.  Depicting a dignitary with crescent-shaped headdress and repousse features.  Fanged mouth; grooved headgear; and almond-shaped eyes; one of the tubular outstretched arms holding a mace with discoidal head. Tubular legs terminate in flat feet with slightly indicated toes. Traces of gilding. Height 7.75 inches; 19.5 cm. Estimate $800-$1;200

A PERSIAN GLAZED PITCHER AND BOWL ; probably from Nishapur or Kashan; Persia; Seljuq Period; 1037 – 1194 AD.  Pitcher height 6.75 inches; 7 cm; Bowl height 3.5 inches; 8.8 cm. Together with a conical bowl with tooled foot; cobalt linear petal design in the interior and overall clear glaze; Persian circa 12th century; height 2.5 inches; 6.5cm.
