FOUR RUSSIAN LACQUER BOXES, KHOLUI AND MSTERA, SIGNED, CIRCA 2000. Including a large rectangular box with hinged lid depicting a finely painted scene illustrating the Russian fairy tale "The Tale of Master Danilo"- from the "Mistress of the Copper Mountain" story, artist signed in Cyrillic A. Sinkov, 9.75 inches x 7 inches (24.5 x 17.5 cm); together with three other boxes, each exhibiting losses and lifting to the paint layer, the largest measuring 7 inches x 9.5 inches (18 x 24 cm), the smallest 6 inches x 3.6 inches (15 x 9.5 cm). Each artist signed and contained in original padded issuance box.
