FOUR FINE RUSSIAN LACQUER BOXES, PALEKH AND FEDOSKINO, SIGNED, CIRCA 2000. Comprising four rectangular boxes, each with hinged lid depicting various images including a scene from the Russian fairy tale "The Snow Maiden", artist signed in Cyrillic Smirnova, 4.8 inches x 3.25 inches (12.5 x 8.2 cm); a scene of a fairy holding a bird, artist signed in Cyrillic Krasnoslobodtseva, 5.25 inches x 4 inches (13.5 x 10 cm); a scene from a Russian fairy tale, signed in Cyrillic Smirnova, 5 inches x 4 inches (12.5 x 10 cm); and a portrait of a woman with floral tiara based on the painting by French artist Emile Vernon titled "With Flowers in Her Hair", artist signed in Cyrillic Krasnoslobodtseva, 4.75 inches x 3.5 inches (12 x 9 cm). Each contained in original padded issuance box.
