THREE RUSSIAN ICONS, 19TH AND 2ND HALF 20TH CENTURY. Comprising an icon of St. Alexander Nevsky overlaid with a repoussé riza with enameled halo and spurious maker’s mark, 14.25 inches x 12.25 inches (36 x 31 cm); an icon of the Ascension of the Lord overlaid with a gilded copper repoussé riza, 13 inches x 11 inches (33 x 28.5 cm); and an icon of the Iverskaya Mother of God overlaid with a metal repoussé riza, 12.3 inches x 10.5 inches (31 x 26.5 cm).
