A GROUP OF FOUR RUSSIAN ICONS, PROBABLY LAST QUARTER 20TH CENTURY. Executed on old panels and comprising a year icon depicting all the feasts and saints celebrated on each day of each month, 19.75 inches x 15.5 inches (50 x 39 cm); a triptych of St. George Slaying the Dragon beneath the Old Testament Trinity, and the wings with various scenes from his life, 18.3 inches x 19 inches (46.5 x 48 cm); an icon of Saints Flaurus and Laurus, 14.75 inches x 11.25 inches (36.5 x 28 cm); and a three part icon depicting Christ enthroned with Saints John Chrysostom and Basil the Great above images of the Archangel Michael and the Iverskaya Mother of God, 12.25 inches x 10.25 inches (31 x 26 cm).
