A PAIR OF LARGE AND IMPOSING GREEK ICONS, PROBABLY 2ND HALF 20TH CENTURY. Comprising an icon of the Mother of God of the Passion above the Archangel Michael and George; and an icon of the New Testament Trinity above Saints John the Baptist and Menas. Both icons overlaid with matching silver plated repoussé riza with Armenian (?) maker/hallmarks. Both approximately 27.2 inches x 17.5 inches (69.5 x 34.5 cm).
