A GROUP OF CIVIL WAR AND CIVIL WAR RELATED OHIO VETERAN PAPERWORK. Comprising of two discharges for Private Robert Marshall, Company E, 17th Regiment, Ohio Infantry together with a prisoner parole filled out to Marshall as well as 13 original vintage documents from the War Department, Department of the Interior, and Bureau of Pensions. Mostly dated in the 1880s and 1890s and related to Marshall’s service in the Civil War. Together with an original pre-war tintype of Marshall as well as numerous archival photocopies from the County of Appanoose, Iowa also related to his pension, and a three-ring binder notebook with material collected off the internet, including copies of old newspaper articles related to his service and a color photo of his gravestone in Centerville, Iowa and other related material. Comprising 16 vintage documents (three of the war period), one vintage tintype (not in uniform), and the remainder being photostats, photocopies and contemporary printed material related to Marshall.
