A GROUP OF THREE RUSSIAN ICONS, 19TH CENTURY.  Comprising a provincial icon of the Resurrection and Descent surrounded by 12 scenes depicting various feasts, 20.5 inches x 15 inches (52 x 38 cm); an icon of the Crucifixion surrounded by four images including the Unburnt Thornbush Mother of God, the Archangel Michael with Saints Flaurus and Laurus, the Fiery Ascension of the Prophet Elijah, and a gathering of five selected saints, 21 inches x 18 inches (53 x 46 cm); and a large icon of Saints Cosmos and Damian beneath an icon of the Kazan Mother of God, and between them depictions of them in their graves, 21.6 inches x 20.25 inches (55 x 51.5 cm). In various states of condition including losses and restoration.
