A FABERGÉ SILVER-GILT AND GUILLOCHE ENAMEL FRAME, MICHAEL PERCHIN, ST. PETERSBURG, LATE 19TH CENTURY.  The rectangular frame with a border of chased laurel leaves surmounted by a bow-knot, covered in translucent blue enamel over a radiating sunburst engine-turned ground with applied laurel wreaths around an oval raised bead aperture. Ivory back with an A-frame hinged strut. Hallmarked St. Petersburg, circa 1890’s, Cyrillic maker’s mark FABERGE and Cyrillic workmaster’s initials MP for Michael Perchin and 84 silver standard. Also with scratched inventory number 45289. 4.75 inches x 3.6 inches (12.1 x 9.3 cm).
