TWO STAFFORDSHIRE PEARLWARE FIGURES, CIRCA 1820. Comprising the “Widow of Zarephath”, modeled with the seated figure of a woman wearing a floral painted dress and yellow cloak, a young child at her side, raised on a naturalistic base applied with a barrel, a pitcher and foliage. Some early losses repairs and restorations. Height 10.25 inches. And “Saint Paul”, modeled sitting below a flowering tree with bocage decoration and holding a sword and open bible, impressed “Saint Paul” on hollowed base. Scattered restorations including repairs to hands, sword and arms. Height 9.25 inches (24.5 cm).
