TWO STAFFORDSHIRE PEARLWARE FIGURES, EARLY 19TH CENTURY. Comprising a “Flight into Egypt” group, England, circa 1830, modeled as male and female travelers with an infant and donkey, mounted atop a freeform hollowed base, some losses and restorations. Height 10.75 inches (27.5 cm). And a figure of “Christ Teacheth Nicodemus”, circa 1820, probably by Walton, modeled sitting with his left hand raised, below a flowering bocage decorated tree raised on a hollowed mound base and holding a shield at waist impressed with the biblical reference for “John 3 Ch 3”. Some restorations to hands and bocage in tree. Height 11.25 inches (28 cm).
