AN ITALIAN RENAISSANCE CARVED WOOD SIDE CABINET BASE, SECOND HALF 16TH CENTURY. With later elements. The door and side panels carved in deep relief with scenic cartouches, scroll work, facial masks and birds. Each flanked with carved figural supports raised on a carved base with facial masks, lion's heads and scrolled foliates. Height 38.25 inches (97 cm), width 51.25 inches (130.25 cm), depth 26.25 inches (66.75 cm).
