AN EXCEPTIONAL GILT BRONZE AND CHAMPLEVÉ ENAMEL FRAME, PROBABLY FRENCH, 19TH CENTURY. Resting on a multi-tiered rectangular base with champlevé enameled predella panel set with opposing winged cherubs holding palms and resting against spindle form columns with decorative capitals supporting an arched pediment with floral swags and crest finial above an arched frame with enameled border and beveled glass held in place by swivel supports. Height 11.5 inches (29.4 cm).
