A PAIR OF LARGE AND IMPRESSIVE PATINATED BRONZE ANGEL CANDLE STANDS, DEHIN FRERES, LIEGE, BELGIUM 19TH CENTURY. Resting on square bases atop which is mounted four columns with acanthus style capitals, supporting kneeling angels in prayer. Each sculpted in full round, of good proportion with deep folds, cascading hair and overlapping feathering, and each supporting a substantial seven light candelabra with pierced borders and grapevine motifs (removable). Both marked "Dehin Freres Cuivreries Liege." Height from base to top of wing 76.75 inches (195 cm). Overall height including candelabras 120.5 inches (10 feet), 306 cm.
