A LARGE AND IMPRESSIVE GERMAN JUGENDSTIL GILT BRONZE MOUNTED CERAMIC FLOOR VASE, 20TH CENTURY. In the manner of Otto Eckmann. Of ovoid form with a turquoise and curdled amber glaze over a black glazed ground stoneware. Mounted with gilt bronze medallions, finely sculpted with the portrait of a crowned young beauty with trailing hair curls, below stylized scrolled strapwork extending handles. Apparently unmarked. Total height 37.875 inches (96.2 cm).
