CHINESE RED LACQUERED CARVED WOOD AND GILT DECORATED SHRINE CABINET, 19TH/20TH CENTURY. Decorated in gilt with various scenes of immortals, deities and Buddhist motifs within a shadowbox frame carved with bats. Raised on a bracketed plinth with two drawers. Some losses. Height 77 inches, width 43.5 inches, depth 12 inches.
