A PAIR OF 19TH CENTURY SILVER BEAKERS, comprising a Meadows and Company American coin silver beaker, Philadelphia circa 1831, of tapering conical form with beaded and shaped foot rim and lip. Lightly inscribed on face Christian County Agricultural and Mechanical Association. Stamped marks include pure coin Meadows and Company Chestnut Street 310 Philadelphia. Height 3.75 inches (9.5 cm). Together with a Swedish silver beaker, circa 1918, of flared conical form above a repousse shell decorated circular foot and stamped border design surmounted by an associated conforming cover with finial. All stamped with silver standard, date letter, and makers mark KG MG, height 6 inches (15.2 cm). And an Edwardian lidded silver box, Birmingham 1912, mark of Thomas Latham and Ernest Morton. Of oval form with dome fitted and hinged lid raised on four cast legs with paw feet and acanthus leaves. Length 4.75 inches (12 cm), weight 15.33 troy ounces.
