AN IMPERIAL RUSSIAN DRAGOON HELMET, CIRCA 1910. The black lacquered leather body traversed with bearskin crest. The front rounded peak edged in nickeled metal and the front mounted with a stamped metal Imperial double headed eagle. The right side with white, orange and black metal cockade disc and the sides set with chinscales. The interior with kid leather sweatband and stamped with makers mark in Cyrillic КАРЛЬ ТИЛЪ under the Imperial Warrant and in Cyrillic MOSCOW, Also stamped with size 55, dated 1910 and hand inscribed No. 145. Additionally cloth lining stamped in Cyrillic 20 Д. ПГ. In very good condition.
