AN INTERESTING IMPERIAL RUSSIAN IVORY COVERED CIGARETTE CASE OF TSAR ALEXANDER II. The rectangular case with rounded corners and each cover laminated with ivory and opening to reveal a silk lined interior with accordion pockets and containing one vintage cigarette, the mouth piece marked  ЛАФЕРМЪ and in Cyrillic St. Petersburg beneath the Imperial Warrant. The interior further displaying an affixed vintage label printed in Cyrillic (see illustration) identifying the case as being the Former Property of Emperor Alexander II and with inventory No. 52. A unique and interesting personal item from the effects of Alexander the Great Liberator. Length 6 inches (15cm).
