AN INTERESTING RUSSIAN SILVER GILT-BOX, MOSCOW 19TH CENTURY. The rectangular form with rounded corners and overall ribbed. The lid and front panel set with oval Rostov enamels depicting Saints Olga, Mitrophan of Voronezh, the Mother of God, as well as others. The hinged lid opening to reveal a brightly gilded interior, hallmarked Moscow and with makers mark AA and 84 standard. Contained in a custom fitted leather covered silk and velvet lined case. Length 3.5 inches (9cm).
