A UNIQUE BROADSIDE TIME TABLE, CIRCA 1896. The top printed with the Imperial double-headed eagle above the time table for the Royal Train taking the Emperor and Empress of Russia from Ballater, near Balmoral, to Portsmouth on the 4th of October 1898, from where they embarked for the Imperial State Visit to France two days later. Framed with an original photograph of Nicholas and Alexandra with Queen Victoria at Balmoral taken by W. & D. Downey with photographers original stamp on verso. Time table 13 inches x 7.75 inches (33 x 19.8 cm), photograph 6.5 inches x 8.5 inches (16 x 21 cm).
