A CHINESE RUBY BACK 'FAMILLE-ROSE' DISH, QING DYNASTY, YONGZHENG PERIOD. The egg shell porcelain dished plate with everted rim finely painted with bright enamels of a maiden waiting over three boys playing with flowering cartouches on a pink cell diaper ground, the verso with ruby red enamel and paper exhibition label 'Art Treasures Exhibition 1928 no. 1359' and accompanied with the 'Exhibition of Art Treasures Catalog for 1928' in which the above lot is described and was exhibited. Tight hairline, diameter 8.25 inches (21 cm).
