A RUSSIAN SILVER GILT AND CLOISONNE ENAMELED CIGARETTE CASE, OVCHINNIKOV The body overall enameled with a stylized foliate field on a stippled gilt ground, both the front and back lid set with a large rosette medallion with gadrooned border and the push thumbpiece set with a cabachon. Interior gilded, hallmarked Moscow, dated 1893 and in Cyrillic stamped 'Ovchinnikov' beneath the Imperial Warrant and 88 standard. Length 3.8 inches (9.7 cm).
