A LARGE AND IMPRESSIVE CARVED GOTHIC STYLE TRIPTYCH OF THE VISITATION, GERMAN 19TH CENTURY. The ornate base with carved openwork Gothic style arched elements supporting a larger central triptych opening to reveal, at the center, an exceptionally carved wood figure of the Visitation in the Neo-Gothic taste (illustrated), sculpted in high relief with excellent detailing. The left and right interior wings painted with Saints Barbara (left) and Saint Ursula (right). The top with carved Gothic style arch finial. The carved figural grouping 27 inches (69 cm), height 24.5 inches (62.2 cm) width. Overall height 88 inches (223.5cm) Width 49 inches (125cm) open
