A RUSSIAN GOLD DIAMOND AND RUBY BROOCH, ST. PETERSBURG, 1897-1908. Suspended from the top of the gold hoop of gold banding, a large cut diamond and ruby and each with a smaller similar stone. Hallmarked St. Petersburg, 1897-1908, Cyrillic makers mark GP and 56 gold standard (14kt). Diameter 1 inch (2.4 cm).
