The wooden shaped body with beveled edges and ribbon-tied floral garland mounts surrounding the central white enamel clock face with black Arabic chapters within a ribbon entwined bezel of translucent strawberry enamel over a guilloche ground and surmounted by gadrooned urn. The verso mounted with hinged scroll silver strut. Hallmarked St. Petersburg, circa 1897, silver standard 88, stamped in Cyrillic FABERGE, workmasters initials BA for Victor Aarne and with scratched inventory number 1270. Height 8.6 inches (22 cm). Lot also includes the original silk covered and lined custom fitted box with Faberge stamp on lining inside lid.
