A FINE RUSSIAN SILVER-GILT AND SHADED ENAMEL KOVSH, GUSTAV KLINGERT, MOSCOW, 1899-1908. The body and hook handle overall decorated in shaded enamel of scrolling foliage and flower-forms on a bright stippled gilt ground. The rim and foot banded in turquoise beaded enamel and the interior with large similarly enameled medallion. Struck with Cyrillic makers mark for Gustav Klingert, hallmarked Moscow 1899-1908 and with 84 standard. Length 6.1 inches (15.6 cm).
