A SYRIAN OR HOLY LAND ICON TRIPTYCH WING, 18TH OR 19TH CENTURY. Painted in bright colors of yellow and red. At the top, the Mother of God above an image of the Archangel Michael and the Old Testament Prophet Elijah. At center, a large depiction of the Dormition of the Mother of God and on the lower margin Saints Peter and Paul. 13 inches x 5.5 inches (33 x 14 cm).
