A FINE RUSSIAN ICON OF SAINT SERAPHIM OF SAROV, CIRCA 1904. A three quarter-length depiction of the popular spiritual leader. He delivers a blessing with his right hand and holds a chotki (prayer rope) in his other hand. The background incised and the halo and borders ornately decorated in faux enameling. 10.5 inches x 8.75 inches (26.6 x 22 cm).
