A VERY FINE FRENCH RESTAURATION GILT BRONZE FIGURAL CLOCK, EARLY 19TH CENTURY. Depicting the large winged figure of liberty carrying a torch with a cherub attendant atop a rectangular clock case, with neo-classical frieze, and shovel with floral basket compliments atop a rectangular plinth with pastoral goat scene sculpted in relief, the enameled clock dial with silk thread suspension, inscribed "Rofsel A. Rouen". Height 17.5 inches (44 cm).
