AN EGYPTIAN SILVER-GILT AND GEMSTONE MOUNTED SNUFF BOX, 1929-1930. Of sarcophagus form with figural sphinx form legs set with jade, carnelian and rubies surmounted with a recumbent sphinx. Stamped hallmarks for after 1906 and with date letter "E", also stamped ".935". Length 2.675" (6.7 cm), weight 140 grams.
