A VERY FINE FABERGE SILVER-GILT AND ENAMEL CIGARETTE CASE, MOSCOW, 1908-1917. Decorated in the Neo-Russian style on a moss green field, the hinged lid with matte en plein painted Tsar’s Falconer after Franz Rouband (Russian 1856-1928) and with blue cabochon thumbpiece. The interior gilded, and with 1913 dated dedicatory inscription. Hallmarked Moscow 1908-1917, stamped in Cyrillic K. FABERGE beneath the Imperial Warrant, 88 silver standard and scratched inventory number 35939. Length 4 inches (10.5 cm).
